Fran Guardo

Fran Guardo, MEd, MPT, DPT, BSPTS C1&2 In 2009, she became the Director of Rehabilitation for the Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute and had the opportunity to build the department from the ground up. The center is now internationally renowned center specializing in deformity correction and limb lengthening. She is a sought-after speaker in the field of Rehabilitation of Limb Lengthening, and Arthrogryposis where she trains therapists and surgeons internationally. She established the Deformity Correction and Limb Lengthening Rehabilitation Conference and Preceptor Program in 2011. She has authored multiple book chapters, presents nationally and internationally, and is an adjunct professor for Nova Southeastern University, where she lectures in the Physical Therapy Department.

En 2009, asumió el cargo de Directora de Rehabilitación del Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute y tuvo la oportunidad de desarrollar el departamento desde cero. Actualmente, el centro es de renombre internacional, especializado en la corrección de deformidades y el alargamiento de extremidades. Es una conferenciante muy solicitada en el campo de la rehabilitación del alargamiento de extremidades y la artrogriposis, donde capacita a terapeutas y cirujanos a nivel internacional. En 2011, creó la Conferencia y el Programa de Preceptores sobre Rehabilitación para la Corrección de Deformidades y el Alargamiento de Extremidades. Es autora de varios capítulos de libros, realiza presentaciones a nivel nacional e internacional y es profesora adjunta de la Universidad Nova Southeastern, donde imparte clases en el Departamento de Fisioterapia.
